Oat’s a Knockout – Oat Cream IPA

Why did we make this beer? The wonderful Mike and Katie of Sauce brewing joined us at our 10th birthday celebrations late last year and over a few beers we decided we should collaborate on a beer together.We looked at both breweries strengths and decided a nice Oat Cream IPA would be the beer to celebrate our friendship. Vital Stats:ABV: 6.0% IBU: 19Malts: Pale, Malted Oats and Chit MaltHops :                 Kettle- nilWhirlpool- Nectaron, Eldorado and Citra CryoKnockout- GalaxyDry Hop- Citra LupoMax, Strata and NectaronYeast: Ferveo London Ale Additions: Milk (Lactose) Appearance: Light yellow in colour, very turbid haze and fluffy white foam. Aroma and Flavour: Punchy stone fruit aromas of peach, mango, nectarine with citrus, pineapple and a little dank grassiness. Soft white bread and floral esters. Rounded fruity hop flavours of apricot, peach and melon with a nice little citrusy spritz. Soft sweet malt character fills out this little number beautifully Mouthfeel: Super pillowy and fluffy mouthfeel with high sweetness and creamy texture on the finish. Very low bitterness make this beer super drinkable. Pair it with: Fish or chicken dishes featuring fruit based sauces
