To mark Big Shed’s 1000th brew in 2023, we want to celebrate the people. Behold: The People’s Brew – the Hazy NZ IPA that you asked for. Viva la people!

A Hazy New Zealand IPA designed to showcase the delicate and intense flavours and aromas of New Zealand’s spectacular cool climate hop varieties.
 
Vital Stats:
ABV: 6.5%  IBU: 20
Malts: Pale, Malted Oats and Malted Wheat
Hops: 
Mash: Nectaron                
Whirlpool: Taiheke, Superdelic and Motueka
Dry Hop: Taiheke, Superdelic and Motueka
Yeast: US-05
  
Appearance: Light orange in colour with a moderate haze and a soft fluffy white foam
 
Aroma and Flavour: Loads of big fruity aromas that NZ hops are known for. Grapefruit, lime, tangelo with some candy like characters of orange sherbet and red lollies. Spritzy citrus flavours and sweet candy orange flavours combined with sweet caramel and bready notes.
 
Mouthfeel: A soft and smooth malty canvas with a low-medium bitterness that allows the array of delicate fruit flavours to really shine. Sweet up front with a moderately dry finish keep this beer refreshing and highly drinkable. Medium carbonation.
 
Pair it with: Crayfish and other seafoods, lamb and spring vegetables or perhaps some fush and chups bro.
